Chanda is an amazing teacher. She is very patient and kind and makes sure her students fully grasp the subject. She is very knowledgeable in many subjects and is actively reading and learning more.
Chanda has been a very patient teacher. She has been coaching, teaching and guiding students for almost 10yrs now! She devotes care and attention to all her students. Her teaching style is very practical and fun!
I am Chanda's labmate for several years, and I've witnessed her remarkable mentorship skills. She shows immense patience and dedication, always ready to help her mentees with a deep understanding and responsibility. Her approach not only aids in their learning but also creates a positive and supportive environment in our lab.
Chanda is one of the most hard working, self-motivated, diligent, and dedicated people that I’ve met. She is highly creative, innovative, and communicative! She has previous experience in teaching, tutoring, and mentoring. I believe that she is qualified due to her training and previous coursework in math and science (chemistry) as well as her ongoing commitment to learning. I am confident that she will invest in you, which is why I strongly recommend Chanda for tutoring!
I know Chanda from our work together in UMBC. She's a talented mind for Organic and Inorganic synthesis (she's taught a lot of lab courses so she's got this!). She has patience and willingness to see what mistakes or misconceptions you have that need to be corrected so you can heal your understanding of the whole process and not just memorize. She's engaging online so you can feel like you're talking to a real person on your own schedule. ^_^
Chanda is an *absolute top tier* teacher. She has an immense ability to find creative, accessible, and relatable ways to convey complex and nuanced scientific material. Learning coursework doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and Chanda knows that. She brings a super unique approach to her tutoring because of her entrepreneurial mindset- she facilitates not only learning the material at hand, but she is also an extremely valuable and personable mentor. She views each student from a multifaceted perspective that includes their humanity and life goals, drawing out how the topic at hand fits into each of those. She is always bringing awareness and vast expertise from both in and out of the classroom to inform her methods and teaching style. I’ve known Chanda for over a decade, starting from working with and beside her at Metropolitan State University of Denver’s tutoring center up until now where she is putting the finishing touches on her PhD in Nanochemistry. I have witnessed first-hand countless rave reviews and have seen how much Chanda helps her students find success. She continues to inspire me via her intellect, patience, kindness, wealth of knowledge, preparedness, and her willingness to go above and beyond. I cannot recommend her enough. It has been such a privilege to work beside her and to see her continuous excellence to this day, channeling her passion for teaching and education through personalized tutoring of rigorous course material.
I have known Chanda for a long time, since our early post-graduate days. She is an amazing, friendly, patient and hardworking teacher. She has a solution for every situation. She loves to help and guide.
Chanda is one of the smartest, most kind, and most dedicated scientists I've ever studied with. We met in the chemistry department at MSU Denver as undergraduates, and she's one of the best and brightest! She's really good at explaining concepts to others and helped me with my own homework all the time. She cares about students and their success!
Chanda is trustworthy because when she works with someone, she will keep at it, utilizing different approaches, so a student will firmly understand the mathematic concept(s). I first worked with her as a coworker, as tutors, at the Academic Success Center at Metro State University in Denver, then I spent a couple years as the lead tutor and was able to observe her perfect her tutoring style. She is a highly recommended tutor!
I've done it! As of December 19, 2024, I am a Doctor of Chemistry! Now, it is the creation phase of my life. Both on my own and in collaboration with others, I plan to use the next 10 years or so to create as many artistic and technical projects as possible. Wish me luck!
One GIANT step closer to being a doctor (of chemistry).
There is no time like the present! It's time for me to start manifesting my goals and dreams instead of waiting for "the perfect time."
This is my first blog post!
